Open Conveyor
The feeders can be built such that the conveyor is able to hand over trays to another process. The trays may or may not come back. Command strings control this operation as well as SMEMA communication.
Heavy Tray Pusher and Rollers
The tray “pusher” with this option is adapted to apply uniform force across the length of the tray edge. This will ensure an even distribution of force which also reduces the amount of wear on the conveyor belt.
Y-Index Conveyor
The Y-index option allows a user to position a tray along the conveyor in 0.1 mm steps*. A fresh tray is first positioned at the pick-position against a hard stop. The Y-indexes begin after the first row is processed. Once all rows have been processed, the tray is indexed back to the feeder base again.
Safety Feature: Performance Level D
Quasys feeders can be used in applications that require adherence to the “Performance Level D” safety standard (from EN ISO 13849). The added safety door switches would be put on a terminal whereby the host could take access, while two additional contactors are put in-line from the elevator motor driver to the elevator motors.

Kits are available for the JTF products that provide different combinations of tools and spare parts for a technical user to maintain and service the feeders themselves.
